About Me
I am a stop-motion artist currently based in Portland, OR, where I’ve worked for studios like LAIKA and House Special on features, commercials, and short films. I specialize in all things nature, primarily focusing on landscapes and botanical art informed by my deep love for ecology.
I received my BFA in Film/Animation/Video from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2019 with a concentration in Nature, Culture and Sustainability. Since then, my art has been exhibited across the country in film festivals and gallery shows! I hope to use my art as a way to share the awe I have for the natural world with my audience, and inspire curiosity and wonder.
You can find me wandering the forests and coastal cliffs of the PNW in one of my many forms, be it snail, nudibranch, or star-nosed mole. But if it’s easier, please reach out via my email! alicelanglois.art@gmail.com
